What does this quote mean?

The quote was said by one of my friends on facebook & it goes like this ( '' I made a pact with the chief; Can't wait for success''). He posted this as his status & i commented on it. He said that he made an agreement with his boss and he's going to make alot of money but i think something different. What do you think?
