My Landlord is refusing to pay me my deposit. What can I do?

You will have to file a civil suit for recovery of money. You claim your deposit along with interest and compensation. Of course, recovery suit can be filed within a period of 3 years. If your case is within limitation, certainly you will succeed. You need not remain present in court on each date, once the case is filed. You will have to remain present only for filing the suit and for giving witness. Best of luck.
