Thinking about having a second child?

My son is 10 months old and my husband and i were talking about our future and we think it will be best to try again when our son turns 2 next summer i will have just graduated from college but he wants another before he is 30 and i am in agreement. do you think a 2-3 year difference between children is a good age gap? and i am terrified of having another its definitely a huge financial decision.
