World of Warcraft Question?

I am a lvl 40 human paladin trying to start the enchanting profession. i need to make a runed copper rod to start enchanting. to make this rod i have to get a lesser magic essence. on wowwiki it waid that i need to disenchant a lvl 5 to 15 weopon. were am i at a lvl 40 paladin suppose to get a lvl 5 to 15 souldbound weopon to disenchant. all the weopons at that lvl to buy are not soulbound so i cant disenchant it. please tell me were i can find one of these weopons so that i can start enchanting.
