I am being accused of theft in a foreclosed home I lived in and did not commit?

long story short I was a renter In a home and the Owner foreclosed (with out notification us of course!) and I had to move out as per agreement with the bank (California law allowed us legal 3 months to move) and here we are 3 1/2 months later and the old owner/landlord is accusing of us of theft because she was not allowed access into the house. This is what the bank advised. Apparently she had what she considers personal items left there, and its our fault they were not returned to her. She also claims a clean up crew let her in the property and everything from the property was stripped out. We in fact did not take anything out of that home that was not ours but her allegations are of theft? Can I be found guilty of theft I did not commit?
